We were sat downstairs which was very cozy and comfortable. Great service. Both got the pulled beef sandwich (pictured) it was incredible! So juicy, tender and delicious, came with yummy potatoes and a lovely salad. It was well worth the price, great price. Got the Christmas tea (in April) and it was so fruity, comforting and yummy, really recommend it. The homemade baked cheesecake was yummy also. Fully recommend this place for food and a huge selection of teas. Very cozy and relaxed place.

Very tasty food..made with love... Very huge portions! A bit expensive. Busy staff... Interesting design... furniture... lights... Not for everyone. But thank you for my breakfast.

This is such a cute little shop. It’s great to sit down with friends and just chat. The ambience and decor is so lovely. The food is really good, I especially enjoyed having breakfast here. Although it can get a little crowded sometimes; depends on when you go

Oooh lovely place for cup (or a few cups) of tea. They have over 60 different teas, differently flavoured. Some have a strong smell, some have a strong taste, some have both. Reading the menu takes so long because they have detailed descriptions of the teas. This place is usually crowded, enough to make you wait for some time. Which is totally worth it after you try the tea. I tried At least 7 teas and loved the jasmine and hazelnut/vanilla tea. Definitely visit this place if you're in Newcastle.

Such a cosy wee place! I loved spending time there on my last trip to Newcastle. Such a wide range of gorgeous teas available and they brew them for you! You never have to worry about your tea being to strong or too weak. The decor instead is beautiful and it has such a calm and relaxed atmosphere. I can't wait to go back

This place is the most important part of Newcastle for me. They always offer a variety of fresh pastries, cakes and scones, which are all amazing. Specifically I suggest the carrot cake and their scones. They also have a large assortment of teas (their caramel cup is my favorite tea among all the teas I've ever had). They even have some fresh meals around noon, which are absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough, but if you pass Newcastle you have to visit Quilliam Brothers.

Is it wrong to go somewhere called The Tea House and only drink coffee? This quaint cafe has a bible of tea, fantastic baked cakes and (the pièce de résistance) their very own private underground cinema! We stopped by whilst on a weekend trip to Newcastle and sat in the beautiful downstairs section of the cafe for a little brunch. We ended up opting for the full English breakfast and a couple of coffees, both of which were brilliant. We would definitely go back again!

Hello there 200

Busy place, tea is notably better than the food, but the food is ok, hence 4 stars. Tea is great, very good choice, and comes pre brewed and ready to pour so the strength does not alter throughout your brew. Price is very good and I would recommend this place. (My tea looks pale on the photo because it is earl grey, which is a pale tea when drank with milk)
