Wow!!! these guys were recommended to me by my trusted mechanics at ABC motors in Southend, and its not every day you need a gearbox looked at, especially on an old timer 1971 W108 mercedes 3.5 automatic. They had the car for a couple of months, but ended up completely rebiulding the transmission which included having several parts machined up as they were no longer available and Wow!! what a job they did. It now runs absolutely perfect. The best part was the price 1,164, I was expecting a lot more, so very happy and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

The guys that run this place are great, took my Ford Edge to them today about a strange noise, from gearbox area, Rod test drove it and spent a good 20mins doing this and playing with the gears to tell me, it wasn't the box that was the problem. Explained the issue and problem with getting parts. Took he's advice, would definitely use these guys again and recommend them to anyone.

Great people to deal with....fast, efficient and decent pricing. They gave me the quote, it's what I paid....no extras.

Got redirected to these guys by my usual garage as they are gearbox specialists. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend , friendly , helpful , transparent and sourced the best priced parts rather than opting for the most expensive. Also gave useful tips on future issues I may have which were unrelated to the job they were doing. Sterling job all round

Well I've had work done here in the past and it was great, but my last bit of work wasn't so good. They wasn't able to diagnose a faulty clutch slave cylinder and told me the clutch kit I'd bought was to blame for the issues after they'd fitted it for me. I took their advice and had them take it apart again to see, but still no results. I ended up paying for two days work instead of the quoted one and they gave me my car back without any gears. I knew the problem was Hydralic when I felt the clutch pedal, they told me it wasn't. So when I got home I replaced the Slave, and it fixed the problem. So, the second round of taking it apart was unnessasary and I believe they should have known what a faulty clutch hydralic system feels like. I don't think a customer should have to pay twice, take the car away not working (It was working fine when I dropped it off) then have to fix it themselves. Nice people but I'm VERY dissapointed. Also, they didn't do up the propshaft, the bolts were finger tight and bolts missing from the gearbox.
