The Wall Ulverston is a brilliant bouldering centre with a great community and a very welcoming, chilled out atmosphere. All the staff at the Wall are incredibly friendly and are more than happy to give advice on anything when needed (if you need to talk training or anything to do with climbing then Joe is the man you need!!) With routes being set often you're spoilt for choice with interesting and complicated climbs from V0/1 upwards. With the recent installation of a moon board, training can also be taken to the next level with another 40,000 problems to have a bash at. I can't forget to mention the coffee down at the wall is fantastic and at great prices, so even if you just want to come and grab a take out coffee, or sit in and chill for a bit, it's well worth it. Overall the wall is a fantastic place, with a friendly atmosphere and is brilliant if you are just getting into climbing or an experienced climber. Ps: it has great music as well!

Awesome session! The owner, Joe, super friendly and really helpful (makes THE best coffee in the Furness Peninsula as well)... had some problems with my wrist mobility over the last few years and he was more than happy to take time out to give me some mobility and strength exercises to help me Loads of routes, ranging from beginner to expert, definitely recommend

Brilliant. Problems to suit everyone from beginner to pro. Sensible prices and great coffee. Shoe hire if needed. Never climbed? This is a great place to start. Experienced? Great place to hone those skills. This is what the Furness peninsula has been waiting for.

Overall, the Wall is an excellent bouldering wall. The quality of the problems is consistently high, with regular resets to keep things fresh. The team are all super helpful and the coffee is great.

real person, real review. been here a few times now, and i've loved it every time. the music is great, the company is great, and the walls are great. great routes, ranging from easy to extreme. plus joe (the owner) is a sweetheart. all-round quality stuff!
