Can’t believe i forgot to review this place!! Me and a friend popped in during the summer for lunch after a long walk. We were very happy with the covid measures in place, and enjoyed sitting in the pub garden. I was really impressed by how well they catered to different dietary requirements, i had expected to only be able to have some chips, but had multiple options to choose from. In the end my friend had a big slab of steak and ale pie, and i had a lovely mushroom pie. Both got lots of veg, potatoes and plenty of gravy, all washed down with some nice cider. We’ve been dying for a nice sunny day as an excuse to go for a wander and end up there for lunch again!

Amazing very filling great taste and combination of flavours. I noticed through the door window leading into the kitchen a staff member drying a glass under the hot plate light to make sure it was clean. 10 out of 10 must return
