As much as Id like to be understanding regarding this weird time trying to do an upgrade with Three has been an absolute nightmare since day 1. First I tried to change my address due to moving out and not being able to get delivered the phone to my not anymore 'home' (I still don't have a definite house and living in a hotel at the moment). The company tells me that my address must be the same as billing address so there we go problem 1. Then they encourage me to get the phone from a store but Reading is in tier 4 at the time. Anyways I manage to go to a store in Bath which is in tier 2 , order the phone (phone due on 13.01 and to be collected at the store) and ask them what happens in case we end up into a national Lockdown. A lady called Laetitia, very nice and very polite, tells me 'not to worry, we are in Tier 2, the worst case that can happen on today's announcement by the government is we move to tier 3, but not tier 4'. I insist I'm not sure about that and she tells me 'not to worry, if we end up on a tier 4, the store has been through a lockdown already, and they managed to send everyone's phones to their home in case they couldn't collect them at the store.' Today is 20.01... I am paying for a phone that I don't have, I had to spend so much energy on phone calls to the store and the company... and guess what? Three has no idea, no signs of any tracking or traces of where my phone is. Unacceptable!!!

As with most companies the service when taking out a contract in store was not bad. Cancelling a contract a completely different story. Attempt online and cannot get simple confirmation of cancellation, call the call centre and get told it has been cancelled and I will receive a text right away. Half an hour late no text, use online chat (where you are asked to enter private details and then notice it is an unsecured page) and get told the cancellation is being processed and I will get confirmation in a couple of days. Ask if he can mail me the transcript of the chat but get told that Three doesn't have not facility that I need to request in writing a data protection form for "access to personal information"! Would certainly not recommend based on today's interactions.
Went in today to get an upgrade. Have been a loyal 3 customer for years and always experienced wonderful service. Today was no different, except Amnaa was by far the most helpful and delightful consultant I’ve dealt with in my time with 3. So warm, personable and able to discuss things through like a proper human. No sales pitches, no sneaky add on offers. Just plain and simple. A true credit to the Bath store. Couldn’t thank her enough for her help.
Today I was told off by staff(unknown name) to get out of Three in a minute at the city centre of bath, I have no idea why? I just want to do the top up my network. Moreover,I truly didn’t do anything wrong and I behave properly. Staff said you shouldn’t be here and go out. I think you should be more friendly and make customers feel welcome, not just let everyone go out like me. Please be kind.

Excellent service. The lady I saw was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She showed me all the various options and saved me money on one of my contracts and increased my data allowance on 2 other contracts 7 fold for 2 extra a month. Well worth a visit
