Absolutely fantastic. Karuna is to a place to totally reset in a space of love, fun, wisdom and beauty. You'll learn alot about how to live, laugh, refresh your spirit, rest and restore your body to an ever-better state of health. I keep coming here because I truly believe there is nowhere like it. A fantastic team of professionals creates an experience that is uplifting and grounding, and honestly, truly transformational. I cannot say enough good things about it so will stop now. ;-)

This is my second visit to Karuna Detox and I just have to share my incredible epiphany moment. In trying to physically release, I asked myself to let go of the 'Old' Inner Me to allow space for the 'New' Inner Me. And what a release it was! I feel light headed, happy, content, at peace, energized, focused and excited all a the same time. I have been on many detoxes over the years; all over the world, and I would not contemplate going anywhere else now. Karuna is without question the best. If you are considering a detox Sho and her Team at Karuna will guide and support every moment of your journey.
Yoga with Sho on zoom has been awesome!!! It is a beautiful nourishing and safe space! Since starting with this group a few months ago I have come back in touch with a much deeper level of my body wisdom. I can always feel that peaceful place inside even with all the crazy that’s going on! My body is thanking me I am receiving more insights It’s a safe place to be vulnerable. A loving and accepting space To show up in whatever way it happens to for us that morning! That’s precious The depth and knowledge that Sho brings have really created such a delicious space for my mind body and soul. Feel much appreciation for this morning space that sets me up for my day in a more conscious healthy way.
The Karuna Detox retreats are organised with great skill and care. I had never before experienced detoxifying my digestive system and there are any number of opinions and stories out there about fasting and colonic irrigation that can be off-putting. I found the whole process gentle and manageable at my own pace, which sped up during the week. Sho's daily talks mean that beginners like me understand how our digestive systems work and what's going on. The benefits of raw food are explained but not preached and the experience of Donna's raw food at the end of the week was a revelation. When I booked I was looking for a holiday from everything including my usual eating habits and I wasn't disappointed.
The real deal within detoxing, felt safe and guided throughout my retreat. All staff are professional, caring and supportive. The fifth time I've fasted with Karuna and will most definitely be returning.
