Good Homesense upstairs, good selection of Halloween decorations. The toy section is a little lacking but a whole floor dedicated to clothes. Though the men's department is a little lack luster for anything not chav or smart. Besides the one staff member who was wearing their mask around their chin rather than mouth and nose, it looks like a very well organised store for these troubled times.

TK Maxx is the "go to" place, if you're looking for top brands, variety and good value; this visit did not disappoint. The store applied good social distancing guidelines; this included a member of staff present on entry to provide relevant advice to customers and control of numbers entering the store. A queuing system was in place at the checkouts; these were more than adequately staffed.

TK Maxx isn't everybody's Cup of tea. If you want to just go into a shop and pick up a item in the right size and style, TK Maxx may not be for you. It's a very random shopping experience, you must embrace the lack of organisation. You may visit 2-5 time and are unable to find anything you like/fits, but there is the one time you will find the perfect thing. It's a shopping lottery but that's why it's so good, you have to work for it a bit. It is also unlikely that you wearing the same clothes as the general public who shop at topshop.
