We started swimming when my little boy was 9 weeks old. The classes are so brilliant at improving his water confidence and also building a bond with your baby through trust. Heather is amazing her classes are always varied and fun, she’s very knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm. I would definitely recommend make waves swim school.

Both my boys love their swimming lessons with Heather (from make waves swim school) she is firm but fair and knows how to have fun with the children. My eldest was very apprehensive when he first started, but now loves the water and is always asking if he can jump/ dive in. He recently had an operation which meant he couldn’t swim for 3 weeks, Heather got his confidence back with his first lesson back.My youngest will cry if there is no lesson as he loves it so much. Heather is very approachable and is always willing to try and help.
Heather and her team are fantastic to work with. They have helped my daughter trust me to enable her to build her confidence in the water. She is only 2 and has a major heart defect so I was a little worried about swimming lessons to start with, though the girls have been fantastic and put me at ease.
My son has been going since he was 9 weeks old (he is now 18 months). He absolutely loves his swimming lessons and has progressed as much as he has thanks to Heather. She makes the lessons fun, safe and easy for the babies to learn. Wednesday mornings is one of our favourite times
Our daughter has been to lessons here since she was 3 months old and she is now almost 3 years. Heather has been amazing, she really knows how to get the best from each baby/child and how to help them progress in a fun and enjoyable way. I’m looking forward to our son starting lessons there soon. Thank you Heather for being such an amazing teacher!
