A great little collection of shops, ranging from clothing to high end instruments, and everything in between. Always a must-go when I visit Totnes and love seeing what they have new. Particularly like the ever changing stick of badges and buttons and the just random nature of the shop that just highlights the aesthetic of the town as a whole. Only negative would be slight 'grumpiness' with shop owner and his instruments, but to be honest I completely understand as it's his livelihood and with the decline in music shops it's justified to be protective. All in all, brilliant little shop which I always enjoy a visit to.

Great shop, super friendly and lovely staff. Having just moved to Totnes and as a professional guitar player they supply everything I need, where nowhere else does. One of my favourite places in Totnes.
Stumbled across this shop whilst visiting Totnes. I saw guitars through window and went in to be nosey. My wife however showed an very slight interest in violins. The kind chap went to a lot of trouble to show us violins and demonstrate. Also offered a lot of usefull advice. At no point did he actually try to sell us anything but said we would be welcome back if we did wish to purchase. My Wife did however purchase a hand made leather and tapestry rucksak which was very good value for money and very well made. We are looking forward to visiting Totnes again and will certainly go back to this shop. Hail independent retail.

Such a shame, lovely shop but the owner is extremely rude to customers which stops you going in.
