Awful! They signed off on a building which has clear decects. They won't evidence how they came to their decision. Will pursue this matter further as it is just not acceptable.

Sadly I have to write an awful review. My partner and I are having a new house built and were using PWC as our building control . We are not builders and therefore rely on professionals we employ to tell us if the standards and technical details of the build are as they should be . It came to light yesterday that despite an inspection from PWC just two weeks ago ,which praised the building standards and materials , that actually the building has been built with materials that are not of the design spec that our structural engineer has designed ... we got in touch with PWC .. they simply went silent , refusing to reply or answer their phone which is simply unprofessional. They have only been in touch to provide their complaints policy. I will update this review as the process continues but at the moment there is a very real risk that I will have to take down my house ( nearly at roof level ) due to the fact that their inspections are incompetent. At this time I would urge anyone thinking of using them to not do so.

Absolutely useless. Stick with your LA building control. They know what they are doing. They may not be the quickest around but they wont rip you off.
