Called pub later in the evening hoping we could get a table. They very politely fitted us in at short notice and the waitress and waiter were really helpful and friendly. We were impressed with decor and have fancied visiting for a while. The food was presented lovely and everything looked freshly cooked. We opted for the two course hoping to make it three, but we were so full after cooked dinner and starter... I'll be suggesting a visit with my family and friends.

Visited the Railway today, friendly staff made to feel welcome. All wearing masks and had us to fill in name and address for track and trace. Food absolutely beautiful, quick serving too. Highly recommend
Very welcoming had no tables but explained if we could eat our meal in an hour and a half they could sit us. For people who have previously eaten here under the old management I urge you to give it another go, best quality meal I've had in Nelson in years
Great service, tasty food and a well kept pint. There's always a nice welcome and atmosphere with very attentive staff. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed
