Don’t pay any money up front. I bought my husband a 400.00 voucher over the telephone and at no time was guided towards any terms and conditions and boy has this been a heart breaking and expensive mistake. Unfortunately, my husband cannot use the voucher. I have tried to explain to the company that my husband is unable to use the voucher (though he would have dearly liked to) but my request for a refund (less admin fees) has fallen on deaf ears. Was offered an extension of six months and/or for the voucher to be given to another. I was also offered the caring advice that I might like to put the voucher up for sale on ebay or the like at a reduced rate. Had to explain more than once that no one I know would accept the voucher. When I purchased the voucher spoke to a lovely man who sounded caring and knowledgeable about the company. The lady who I have been dealing with since, obviously doesn’t read her emails properly and replies in a ‘machine’ like manner and tells me the T&C’s are “industry standard”. Do not accept this. Just please be aware that the company I dealt with previously, does not appear to have the same ethos as the company it stands as now. Such an unnecessary shame I have had to resort to posting this. Just wanted my money back, (less, of course, any admin fee) even offered to accept half. Just got the same ‘mechanical’ retort back

I loved every second of the day. I was hands on in everything from Bracing the yards, raising jib, raising main sails, climbing the rigging and helming. The Skipper and crew were all exceptionally friendly and informative.A truly fantastic day that taught me so much of how a square rigged vessel sails. Thank you
Had a truly wonderful experience sailing on the Blue Clipper in the Atlantic, and am already looking at booking my next trip through Classic Sailing!
