Used the Sunrise Centre for cancer treatment. Very friendly and helpful staff. Received excellent advice and support from medical staff.

There are absolutely amazing people working there but the whole framework (NHS) unfortunately attracts and produces BULLIES and there are disturbingly many of them here. Don't ever make the mistake of arriving unprepared. Know your rights, stand up for yourself. Keep family and friends posted about what's happening to you. They will intimidate and threaten you and make sure you know that you are entirely at their mercy and they do to you whatever they want.

I've been in a few hospitals in my time due to ongoing health issues, but the staff here were outstanding. Brilliant communication, polite, professional, understanding and all done with humour and kindness. The NHS staff everywhere work so hard under immense pressure and I can never thank them enough. I rate this hospital highly as one you can have faith in. Brilliant. Thank you :)

We were on holiday for a few days, I had a very bad chest infection, the staff were absolutely fantastic! First class in every way! We live in Essex, our hospitals could learn a lot from these people! I am a Midwife and I’ve worked for the LAS, so I’m well aware of the pressure on the NHS. The staff should be very proud of the service they provide in very testing times, I couldn’t have been treated any better, thank you all for your dedication! The hospital itself was absolutely spotless too, just wonderful example of how a hospital should look and be managed!

I had the unfortunate need to visit the outpatient department on the 2nd September and was met at the entrance by very helpful polite security staff, who supplied a wheel chair, and after I managed to get myself onto it, I was wheeled into reception. The receptionest was quick to gather all my required details and very soon after I was talking to the nurse who supplied must needed pain relief. After ex rays and consultations with the doctor I was on my way home with a new set of crutches , and pain relief medication. Yes it took 4hrs, but i was informed of what was happening at every stage. Thank you NHS for a first class service at these very unstable times.
