Delicious food, great portion sizes and brilliant service - the owner gave us an umbrella while we waited and offered to let me use it on the way home too. We'll definitely be ordering from Umi again, and visiting once we're allowed to eat inside!

Not only is the sushi the best in the area, but the service is unrivalled. We have been here on numerous occasions and the owner has always been very generous and acts very much as if you were a guest in his home. This was most apparent on New Years Eve when our meal was understandably delayed by 20 mins (not really a delay on what must be the busiest night of the year - especially when people can't go out). This delay was deemed unacceptable by the owner and he gave us THE ENTIRE MEAL for free, despite my insistence on paying him. This restaurant doesn't just pride itself on its excellent food and varied menu, but obviously on going the extra mile for its customers. Best restaurant in Twickenham!

One of my favourite Japanese & sushi places in London! Luckily it’s only a few minutes from our flat. We often went for their delicious bento box during lunch pre-COVID, and the owner is always ready with a warm welcome. It has been a while since I’ve been able to get my fill of Umi... I haven’t managed to get a hold of the full menu online. As I passed by tonight, I thought I would upload the full menu (from Nov 2020) incase anyone is missing quality sushi and finds it useful :) Guess what I’m having for dinner tonight? ;)
