The large car park with food and facilities can be very busy at peak season and entry is controlled. good hot food and ice cream usually available. Sandy beach for kids. Miles of beach and forests for walking. Visit the local island but beware high tide or you might have a little paddling to do.
Great walks with wild ponies
Beautiful day walking. Mixture of scenery from woodland to coastal waters. Wildlife lovers would like it. Lots of fungi to see. Wild horses out so keep dogs under control. So much space you feel alone.hilly.
North Wales has beaches, forests, moors, mountains and superb views. They all come together here at Newborough Forest/Newborough Warren. Follow Beach Road from centre of Newborough (opposite the Red Squirrel Cafe) through the forest to the car park adjacent to the beach. It is a pay car park but well worth it.
