I can thoroughly recommend these antenatal classes. The knowledge I gained from these classes helped me feel more prepared for labour and calmer about giving birth. The expertise and support from Louise and Yvette was second to none. Throughout they gave many tips to help with labour and also provided postnatal support. As well as providing a wealth of antenatal advice, ABumpsABaby also enabled a community of new parents to support each other. Thank you!

These antenatal classes were so informative and friendly and Yvette and Louise worked hard to ensure we all bonded as a group. This was done excellently, especially considering all sessions were via Zoom due to the pandemic! We learnt so so much and this meant that we understood the pregnancy and birth in much more detail and felt informed enough to make our own choices. One particular item that stood out from the five sessions was the emphasis on the birth plan. This was not really something we had ever considered and Yvette and Louise really took time to explain the importance of this and show us some examples of previous birth plans. From a first time Dad-to-be perspective it was great to get a well explained understanding of what childbirth and labour would mean for my wife which allowed me to support her more fully when thay time finally came! We would (and actually have) highly recommend 'A Bumps A Baby' antenatal sessions - they are worth every penny and even though we finished them weeks ago now and have a gorgeous 2 week old baby boy, we are left with the support network of the other parents on the course and we are so grateful to Yvette and Louise for establishing this network! This is a great antenatal class, we did the course across two Saturdays - Sarah and Lou were brilliant and even provide homemade cakes and refreshments. I felt so much more prepared and relaxed about giving birth after attending these classes. I ended up having a fantastic experience giving birth thanks to Lou and Sarah; I used a TENS machine and had a waterbirth, and I would not have done either of these if I had not attended ABumpsABaby! We are so lucky to have such lovely midwives in our area who are supportive and passionate about what they do, thank you Mo, Sarah & Lou!
