We love this book shop. Small but with a carefully chosen selection of books, and some lovely greetings cards. Worth a visit.

If You want to know something about the Highlands, a lot of information can You find in Ullapool Bookshop. Great section of Scottish auteurs, a lot of books about Scotland. Small but very interesting collection of music and what for me is very important- really amazing and very competent staff. I will come back to this place every time I'm in Scotland.
A proper bookshop in an unexpected location. Travelling through Ullapool, I had to stop and take a wee look at anything that professed to be a bookshop. I didn't buy any books (sorry Bookshop, my TBR pile is huuuge), but this is a 'proper' bookshop, covering lots of nonfiction books related to Scotland's history and agreat travel section, as well as having a nice fiction section with recent releases and even a kiddie corner (a proper space for kids). I did buy some nc500 souvenirs though as I want to support bookshops - it's a hard business to be in!
Every time I visit Ullapool I have to come and visit this bookshop. The choice of titles are wide ranging often selling books that are not available in bigger stores. They also have a small section of folk music CD's and a good selection of cards for sale. If you come to Ullapool make sure you visit this bookshop it is well worth a wee look.
If you like books and your a tourist then this little book shop is a must visit. A wide range of choice and also strangely feels very homely. Has the usual mainstream books but also a few good Scottish / regional books. Could easily lose an hour here dreaming of what books to attack next.
