University Hospital Lewisham: Dermatology

After spotting some odd skin on my shoulder, I was referred to Lewisham Hospital Dermatology department. I couldn’t have received better care or treatment. I had a body scan for suspicious looking moles and was advised to have one on my back removed (the original skin lesion on my shoulder was not a concern and fell off shortly after). I was booked in for the operation a few weeks later. I was told that my back could scar badly if I did upper body workouts. The images are from before, immediately after the operation, 3 days after the operation and 10 days after the operation. The scar is minimal and is healing well. Thank you! Great advise.
