Amidst all the bad press surrounding hospitals / NHS etc I can truly say I could not have felt safer or been treated any better. From arriving at A&E (following 111 triage), on MAU whilst waiting for emergency surgery; the fantastic and empathetic nurse in the recovery room to the whole ward of F2 for the remainder of my stay I can honestly say that the care, respect, treatment I received from the wonderful staff there, my husband was also given the same care, respect and treatment when calling for an update (and when the lovely nurse in recovery called to let him know) Any additional COVID precautions & procedures are certainly in place (very obvious but subtly completed) which is refreshing! I cannot recommend their care and dedication highly enough and I truly felt SAFE during my whole experience with SUHT (the general) than I have felt whenever I have had to enter any shop / supermarket. Thank you to all who looked after me last week ️

Incredibly awful service. If you come in pain, you have to sit and wait for 4-5 hours to be given a simple recommendation to drink more liquids. Don’t go here.
