Cannot comment on the premises, after the treatment i got from the company, over the events that cost me my job. The branch secretary sided with the company, the legal representative was like a child having an argument with a adult and loosing, so I have no regard for this company.
Good news
After becoming a member and a rep for nearly 6 years I was unfairly dismissed by my employer and the union did not have my back, they chickened out, abandoned me and I had to use my own no win no fee scolisitor who won me a settlement. USDAW full of hot air and no action.
Found the office easily parking in side street if building car park is full
Excellent support in time of crisis. Now recruiting as many colleagues as possible, as small retail organisation and lots of people thought they did not know they had the right to belong to a union as they thought it only applied to large organisations. Because thats what they were told by management.
