Had my mobile phone screen replaced at Elect Tronex and then claimed the fee on insurance. I later applied a UV screen protector and must have got some liquid in the charging port because the phone wouldn't charge and gave a 'moisture detected' warning. I took it back to the shop and they cleaned the port free of charge and the phone works fine again. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, would recommend.

When I went in I was given the option of a screen repair with a cheaper, non-quality screen, or pay more for an official apple replacement. I chose the official, more expensive one. HOWEVER. When I got it back, it said in my notifications that this screen was not a genuine apple display. The man working said that was normal and he would not fix it. Fine, it will go away in 14 days. BUT. It refused to let me use Face ID, which was available previously. They refused to fix it because I could not prove it was working before. My phone screen continued to glitch. They refused to accept it was their fault. 250 pounds later, TODAY I pull my phone out of my purse and the entire under neath screen is glitched and green. To the store workers, this is considered physical damage and is not covered under my warranty. DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE FIXED HERE!!!!!! IT IS CHEAP QUALITY, NON-HELPFUL EMPLOYEES, AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY. GET IT PROFESSIONALLY FIXED.
