There are some absolutely fantastic local taxis with charming drivers who go out of their way to help. Use them, not Valley Wide who are particularly unfriendly and unhelpful.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with the service from this Company. We wanted a taxi from Pewsey Wharf to Crofton Beam Engine, so we could continue our walking of the Kennet and Avon canal path by walking from Crofton to Pewsey. The estimate of the price over the phone was spot on, the driver (also the owner) was very prompt. In fact, when we contacted him to say we had arrived early at Pewsey Wharf, he managed to pick us up a little early. He was very pleasant and professional and we hope to use Valleywide again on our next stretch of the walk. Highly recommended.
