Car failed MOT, I asked how much to do the work, 160 vat. I went away and priced the parts up for 40 and that's to me not trade so they will get them cheaper. The job is 3 bolts and a 5 min job each side, very easy to do. So it would have cost 192 inc VAT, less parts at public price of 40 that then leaves 152 to undo 6 bolts and a 10 min job. 10 mins labour costing 152, let that sink in folks !! Scammers !!! I sent them a letter recorded delivery about the issue and this is what they sent back ( See pic ) The police have been notified and it will be used as evidence in court. UPDATE - I disputed the MOT failure with the DVSA and it was found in my favour, it should have passed which confirms the fact they were trying to get work out of me that did not need doing. AVOID !!!

Took car for MOT and they smashed all the inner splash guards off, I rang the garage and they denied it, I asked to speak to Craig but was told he doesn't have anything to do with it anymore.
