What a lovely find. We were on holiday recently and hired bikes on probably the wettest day if the Summer!! But rode from Bideford to Yelland ( the plan was to go to Fremington quay but our youngest was way to wet and unhappy!) So this cafe was the perfect pitstop for hot chocolate, coffee, cake and toasted tea cakes to warm up and refuel. Felt very safe inside, hand sanitiser on the out side of the toilet before you went in, cashless payments and considerate staff. I do think staff should perhaps be wearing masks/shields when they serve the food. There is only a small sign on a gate on the tarka trail for this cafe but its a little gem if you're ever near by.

A big thank you to Michelle and her team for looking after us yesterday. The cafe was extremely busy with the added pressure of eat out to help out. The staff were polite and asked us to be patient. The food freshly cooked and worth the wait. Hats off to the chefs as well. Keep up the good work. Coffee amazing.
