We recently stayed at their property called The Linhaye on the outskirts of Port Isaac. It's a really lovely property set in what was presumably an old working farm with various other equally nice looking properties on the site. The location is excellent for plenty of local attractions such as Port Isaac and Tintagel and the beautiful nearby coastal walks. The property itself is very well laid out with all the amenities you need and the rooms are all excellent sizes. There's a little courtyard attached and also a garden to share. Views from the kitchen and lounge look out over the fields and down to the sea in the distance. Overall I'd highly recommend this place BUT be warned......there is absolutely no mobile phone signal in or around the house although the Wifi is fine.
Very disappointed with our property and the service Latitude 50 offered. We have visited Treglyddins before however on this occasion we found parts of the property poorly cleaned, garden furniture broken, sand in the pool and a leaking shower which continuely tripped the electrics. We reported the leaking shower fault however Latitude 50 did not resolve the fault and failed to contact us about the repair/or pending repair. Overall Treglyddins is in a beautiful location, has a lovely outside space and the pool is a bonus. The inside of the property is now in need of refurbishment, the carpets and sofas are in a poor condition and it generally looks very tired. It's such a shame that essentially a lovely cottage isn't being run and maintained properly.
We have stayed in Latitude 50 properties several times over the years and they are always our first stop for holiday houses in Rock, easy to book with and the properties are always well catered for and spotlessly clean. We try and come down once a year to Rock for the beautiful beaches and access to Polzeath and Padstow and will definitely be booking with Latitude 50 again.
