This branch of Waitrose is the preferred supermarket for our weekly supply of fruit, vegetables and groceries. The entrance to the car park is conveniently situated on the outskirts of the town which means that we have he minimum of traffic congestion on our journey there. There is no charge for parking for a period of up to 2 hours and it is unusual not to find a space in which to park. The quality of their fruit and vegetables in generally good and there is reasonable selection of groceries although the element of choice is restricted by the size of the store. The staff are very willing to help and one is made to feel welcome there. As card holders we enjoy the benefits of free newspapers and cups of coffee!
Quiet, well organised at the entrance today, unlike my last visit when my husband was with me, we were shopping for ourselves and someone else. We were told very abruptly at the entrance that we couldn't shop together, which we understood, but it was just his manner. Today the girl on the till couldn't be bothered to hold conversation, not up to usual Waitrose standards!
Well stocked considering we're so close to Christmas! Although we always manage to find what we need. Great to be able to book shopping slots too and beat the queues. Well done Waitrose
