Sunny but very windy at Egremont Promenade today. Sat & had a picnic with friends with our coats on & hoods up. Too cold, despite the sunshine, to stay longer than an hour & a half. But great catch up with friends

Amazing views of Liverpool and cracking pub with food when it's open.
I've commented on Egremont Promenade before. Great place to sit and admire the view and chill out and watch people and the boats and take photos. Also when the Egremont Ferry is open again a nice meal and drink can be had. Abt half way between New Brighton and Seacombe with their own attractions.
Has a cycle lane but the cyclists are very enthusiastic and often wizz past so keep well away. Lovely views along the prom both towards liverpool and New Brighton. No public toilets. Dont litter please.

Long n wide. Clean with bins. Lanes for bikes n pedestrians. Dogs should be on leads as cyclists get the hump if they stray onto their lane. Despite it being a promenade, some cyclists treat it as a raceway! Apart from them, its great
