I come here a lot in the Summer with my daughter and the staff are always friendly and there are usually arts and crafts activities to do for the kids. The library has a good selection of book, DVDs, (small cost), newspaper, audio books and graphic novels. There is plenty of seating available too and several desks for research. Free internet is also available as well as printing for a reasonable price.
Staff are helpful and the library itself is a warm safe and quiet environment to study, surf the net, read and print or photocopy paperwork. There is also council payment facilities inside and the council contact centre. Along with a cafe , toilets and free wifi it has everything you need from a library under one roof.
Bad attitude from the two girls behind the counter, their wording, experience and body language was horrendous! They blame the customers for their mistakes. It is not a difficult job for printouts. I had to give them advice on the IT side. They didn't like that either! Bat out of hell after the experience! I will do it myself next time. I will keep my good spirit for the people that deserve it.
Best place for reading and borrowing books And lovely staff
