I have been using E&S for over twenty years on and off. It has always been consistently good in terms of customer service, MOT wait times,bookings and fairness. Pricing is average for the area and feedback on work being done and advice is always available. Recovery of vehicles and associated work is good.

Cheap but at a cost. Apparently the E&S mechanic or is that service technician these days thinks it’s ok to service a car and put in coolant way over the max mark. I myself had to correct the “ technicians “ mistake. Won’t be coming to these cowboys again!

Used E&S to arrange collection of my son's car after a bump in icy conditions. The receptionist was very helpful and called me back as promised. Cost and waiting times due to level of demand were clearly explained. The garage phoned with a quote a couple of days later, which we authorised to go ahead. Later the same day we had another call to visit the garage while they had the car lifted. They had discovered more work that would need doing for the mot due soon. This made the repairs financially unviable so we didn't go ahead. The garage could have gone ahead with over 600 of repairs we had authorised, leaving us to discover the rest at the next mot, with another high bill. Thank you for your honesty to help us reach a decision.
Broke down on M6, had to use a private recovery firm to which The AA recommended this company has i had no recovery on my insurance. first off i would like to say, they got out to me as quick as they could and the fee was very reasonable compared to others. The service I got from this company was first class. I would use them again if I had to.
