My experience with Above and Below started with a visit to the Lee Valley White Water Centre in 2019. My daughter was going to enter an Open Water Competition (her first one) and I knew that she would need a wetsuit. I walked into the shop not expecting much as I needed a swimming suit, not a Kayaking suit. The customer support I got was amazing. Not only did they know what type of suit was needed, they had it in stock and in the correct size. Roll onto 2020 - the country in lockdown. First thing opening up is open water swimming. Daughter has shot up in height and the old suit is too small. I could have gone straight to Amazon - but thought I might chance my arm by messaging Above and Below on Facebook. Matt answered within minutes. Within a couple of days had a temp suit collected (so she could swim) and within a week picked up a brand new wetsuit. Matt and all his team are amazing. Very knowledgeable, super nice. Should change their name to Above and Beyond - because that is the level of service I received. I will be using them for all my future open water needs.

I’m not going to lie, Matt from above and below is amazing! He’s very knowledgeable and is a sound guy. Recently I discovered the company and for all of my recent kayaking purchases (including a boat and dry suit) have been from them. Their prices are fair, their customer service is in my opinion unrivalled. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough for all your paddling needs - especially with their try before you buy at Lee Valley! Where could you go wrong 10/10! 5*

Amazing shop with great stock and super friendly staff who are always extremely helpful and full of interesting knowledge about all of their products. Matt, was amazing with helping pick the correct boat for me (went for a burn 3 small which I am having so much fun with) and pick a good quality paddle (TNP RAPPA) and other kayaking equipment. I fully recommend this shop to anyone who loves kayaking from the biggest beginner to the most experienced paddler. Cheers guys for all the help Can’t wait to be able to visit the shop again.
