Just arrived in the UK and my first stop outside London is Ware Carmel. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay and meditate, this is the place. Had to make several train hopping but it was all worth the trip. The carmelite monastery have a guest house that you can stay in. Don't expect to have a 5-star hotel service since everything here is DIY style (these are nuns, not the concierge!). But I loved every minute of my stay and I totally recommend it to anyone who is in need of spiritual recharging. And yes, there is a chapel where you can attend holy mass. Check the schedules of their Masses for proper guidance.
