This place is great as an alternative to A&E. I've used it 3 times now and the longest I've had to wait is an hour, but rather that than sit in A&E when there's no other alternative. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. I was there recently and turned up at 9.40pm on a Saturday evening and didn't think anyone would see me but they did! Excellent service they provide to us.

It's a while ago since I came to the centre and was given care for a cut finger bleeding heavily and was treated really well, very professional and curious. I've rang today about an issue and the lady I spoke with, though hurried listened and advised me... I really hope the centre remains open as its a service of real benefit to washington.

This is NO longer a WALK IN centre. The website needs updating as dangerous to people who require urgent care

Really friendly staff, clean and only waited 30 minutes when arriving at dinnertime.

NHS showcasing its incompetence in full glory. Can't fault any nurses to be fair. We called in the morning and were given an appointment for 1pm, arrived to be told they were running over an hour behind as urgent cases had took priority. Which is fine, I respect that things have priority. Soooooo scrap the appointment system? Have one team work appointments one team on emergency? Couldn't leave and come back as the reception staff cant communicate with the medical staff apparently. Which the Reception staff do a grand job of making sure they aren't attached to anything to avoid taking any blame. Might aswell save the money on their wages for more nurses and install an electronic check in service? Children's waiting area has 3 seats and small TV 7ft high, no toys. Which was great trying to entertain a 4 year old for over an hour.
