Our experience was both good and bad. The quality of work was very good however there were hidden costs that we did not expect. They were in the fine print but we would have appreciated them highlighting them at the time of the survey so we were not taken by surprise.

Fantastic experience with this company, I tried several others for quotes and never even received a call back. By contrast I had a call straight back from Kenwood, a free surveyor on the day after, a quote the day after that and an offer of a Saturday appointment the same week. Well if you want more than that I don't know what to say ..... The guys turned up on site a little early so no waiting about, they were fully briefed on what needed to be done so no need for me to walk them through it. They covered everything in plastic to protect the furniture carpet etc. The Job was done in good time, they tidied up, where polite and professional, the house was left clean and they explained how everything worked. So what to say, would I use them again, for sure :) Would I recommend them, I would recommend them to my Mum If you need damp proofing then I would use this firm

Everything has been great so far. Kenwood were very responsive and quick to do the job. They even came on the weekend as we wanted to problem solved asap. Hopefully the damp proof course we had installed works and reduces the damp in our fireplace.

Kenwood attended our property recently as instructed by the potential buyers of our property. They have left significant damage that will need to be repaired. The surveyor took advantage of my situation as I was with both my children at the time, he entered the property and did not remove his shoes. He did not give me a break down of what he would be doing instead he walked on through and started looking around my home when I expected him to be in one room for the entirety of his stay. I eventually got a chance to ask him what he was doing and explained one of my children was asleep upstairs he said he would have to go upstairs anyway but would not go in his room. I was unable to follow him and he never got my consent to stick a metre in multiple walls of my home leaving the attached damage. If you are going to use this company for a house you are looking to purchase think carefully about how they interact with clients as it can cause huge friction.
