An absolutely fantastic shop and service. It is businesses like this that we all need - professional services, friendly people, great prices. The Watch Shop is a perfect example of how local experts can provide a better service that large multinationals. I am delighted to recommend them to anyone who needs a watch service, new battery (as I did for my watch, along with a clean), light bulbs, electrical items etc.

This watchmaker/repairer is amazing! I took a very old and completely battered gold watch to him that I had been sitting in a box for decades.It has lost its glass face, didn’t work at all, had a hand missing, no strap, and was in a dreadful state. It had been my Father’s, but I can’t recall him wearing it, as it was so old. He completely took it apart, and gave all the components 3 deep cleans, custom made a new glass face for it, replaced the tiny second hand, and re-built it. He also put on a new leather strap, polished the watch, and it now not only works again, but looks amazing! His class of master craftsmanship is truly excellent, and I am so delighted with my watch, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. He has also replaced the quartz mechanism on a hand made clock for me, and replaced 2 watch batteries on two watches for me. He and his wife are both lovely polite people, and I highly recommend them for any watch or clock repairs, and will certainly use them again.

I am a retired electromechanical Engineer and it was so refreshing to come into this shop, the owner is a delightful and helpful gentleman who is a real deal old school watchmaker. Top Quality work carried out on my watches all running beautifully, I can highly and thoroughly recommend this place.
Wonderful service. Had my Brightling super ocean repaired and serviced. Can't speak highly enough of the service I have received. Brilliant.
