Great beach, quite secluded, not many people about, with plenty of space for children and dogs to run around on. Beautiful huts on the beach as well. Absolutely gorgeous , tranquil and perfect for relaxation, getting away from the city and having a bit of peace and quiet.

“Oh I do like to be beside the seaside..” Sandy beaches, you can seals resting in the sand. Natural wildlife. Great place to have a picnic, take your own rubbish with you. Eat freshly caught fish and chips from the local chippies - The French’s Chips. So many boats. Very picturesque. Watch children capture crabs. Perfect for dog owners. Parking is pay and display. I haven’t been here for ages. Lovely town centre.
Beautiful sandy beach. Best to sit behind a groyne as the wind can be quite cool! Beach cafe and very good parking.
WOW! And - this beach is in ENGLAND??! 90mins from where we live & a lovely, scenic drive. Fabulous place to walk, take a picnic & overall have fun with the family (dogs NOT ALLOWED on beach, tho'!). A must visit!!
Lovely beach. Plenty of space. Even if it was 7c in April Reminder - park in the beach car park rather than the town car park to avoid a 1.2m walk to the beach.

It can get very busy particularly in summer. There are two car parks near the harbour , long & short term, close to each other. Its a nice walk down to the front/sea where there are additional cafes etc. If you don't want the walk there is a car park at the end of the walk. Great fish & chips!
