Very sunny, very warm and very busy. Great to see so many people about, all being sensible and social distancing. Harbour full of people eating fish and chips or ice creams or both! Cannot get much fresher than the fish and chips at the harbour side. Lovely to sit and watch the world go by.

I have lots of history here and I love it for that. A bit run down now but still a lovely place to watch the world go by

You know, as scruffy as the harbour is, and the pretty poor quality tourist offer, I still like the place. Bloody seagulls are a real pest though. A real pity that the marina was never developed. A very backward decision. The harbour needs to develop as both a commercial and tourist centre.

love sitting on this working harbour watching the various boats and fishermen It is the very heart of the town, the community, and as well as being home to the scores of men and women who earn their livelihood there, it is also a magnet for the tens of thousands of people who visit Bridlington every summer for their holidays or family days out.marvelous how some of the boats have been converted for lobster pots The sustained growth in potting achieved at Bridlington in the wake of the marked decline and eventual total elimination of the port’s former strong whitefish fleet represents a huge success story at any time. When viewed in context, against the general downsizing the British fleet has experienced in the past 20 years, what has been achieved at Bridlington becomes all the more remarkable, for which everyone involved deserves full recognition for their efforts.

Great place to see boats, go on s Pirate ship and plenty of places to eat typical seaside food!
