A beautiful archaeological place. You can have a beautiful walk in the forest nearby.
Went here for a dog walk and the walks were beautiful, surroundings were calm and so much to look at. Forests, fields, flowers, lakes. It was well worth the visit! (late review as we went summer last year) but when out of lockdown will definitely be visiting again. Nothing open there apart form Cafe and play area additional to walk - hot chocolates were amazing and play area was well worth it also.
Didn't get to the village itself but had a lovely time wandering the park surrounding it. Beautiful scenery and wildlife abound with a mixture of grasslands and wooded areas as well as a lake. Lots to see and do and plenty for children
Perfect short visit for families. Sited in midst of country park with lots of interesting themed walks all around the village area. It has plenty of fascinating history simply presented.
