Well worth a visit if you are nearby. Very impressive set in beautiful countryside. I believe but have not checked there is free parking and a picnic area nearby. A fascinating piece of British history over 200 years old.

It's too far, not the best view, especially on a bad weather. If you continue further, on the right will be a place with better, closer view.

Beautiful rolling hills. Wonderful country side. History abounds, everywhere around the vale in the villages and beyond. Great farm shop and Pub (The Three Daggers) just down the road in Edington. From the site of the White Horse at the vantage points you can see for miles. Points of interest Bath, on a clear day Bristol. A great place to visit. I would suggest you look up the local history before you go and have your own guide before you go.
