Not too bad, parking seems to be fine, plenty of amenities with fish and chips and Rossi's ice cream, lots of fresh air. Can be a little crowded if the weather is good.

Love how it is always less busy here than up at Southend. Though it can be busy too on a hot day!

Chalkwell beach area is "class". Hire a small 2 medium size dog or at least take a boot on a lead and from oct to april's end you can promenade on the beach in style. Out of those months the ramblers, dog walkers runners, cyclists and walkers compete on the path. All very nice too wot wot

In a hot warm day definitely great place to go with your family and kids... Seafront. But get ready for crowds of people so if you want privacy and quiet you won't find it here

Picturesque seaside town with plenty of ice cream parlours and restaurants. Check tide times if you want to swim because when the tide is out you'll have a kilometre hike from the shore to the sea! Sand is limited so pick a spot early. 54min from Stratford so pretty decent place to escape London for the day. Have fun

Lovely walk along by the seashore. Odd vendor still open so you can still get an ice-cream or coffee.
