Dealt with John Stayte services on and off for many years, they have always been disorganised but have always put things right until recently. I was recently promised a delivery that never showed up, when I phoned to find out what was going on I was told I'd get a call back. This never happened so I called them again and the attitude was disgusting! The member of staff I spoke to told me that I shouldn't have run out of gas in the first place and it was my fault. I said that running out of gas wasn't the issue, the fact that I'd been promised a delivery and been let down had been the issue. She called me a liar, stated that I'd never phoned or booked anything. Outraged I wrote to John Stayte services and received an email from Mike Stayte telling me that he was a serving magistrate and as such would not tolerate my 'mistruths or tirades' He went on to say that he no longer wanted my custom. He used his status as a Magistrate to intimidate against me exercising my right to complain which is unfair business practice. He also refused to accept the phone logs I offered proving that a call was made to his office when he said it wasn't. I met one of his drivers recently, apparently he always treats people like that who have any cause for complaint. So, to be fair... JSS have been great up until something went wrong. They offer good value but if you ever have grounds for complaint expect abuse, insults and threats. Anyone who wants to see the proof, and full email correspondence can search for my blog mevsworld. Mike: All I want is an apology from you, I'll gladly remove this review / modify it when I get one. How sad that this all came from a delivery that they couldn't make. One phone call in the morning to say that they couldn't make it would have been all it had taken, I'd have driven to collect the gas!
