Parked up in Wetherby and walked down by the river. Plenty of picnic tables and bench seats down by the bridge, access point to the river during the summer months, walk under the bridge to viewing point over the weir. Picturesque town with pubs, café's, market and shops, nice area to visit for half a day.

Just walked down to the Wharfe at Wetherby to see it in full flow following yesterday's awful rain. The rush of water was magnificent but there had been flooding. The footpaths were muddy and it was unbelievable that children were playing in it on the little beach only days ago. It's a real treat of an area, so beautiful and so handy. The ducks were very happy. Lots of folk down there sitting or walking around watching the river and the birds. All beautifully kept by Wetherby Town Council. Cafe next door and large free car park.
