My partner & I always go to Balti House for dinner, I understand it is NYE but I placed an order at 19.00, was told it would be an hour for delivery and that somebody would call for payment. Sometime later they called for payment and was told we would pay cash which they said was fine. It is now 21.15 and still no curry, the phone line is now constantly engaged. Absolutely fuming and starving! Disappointed is not the word!!!!!

Out of every Indian takeaway I’ve ever had Shalims just cannot be topped! It is always prepared quickly and the quality is incredible. The Sak Paneer Balti is probably the best thing I’ve ever tasted. I’ve ordered so many times and have never been disappointed. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Fantastic food, excellent service and amazing value. you come to Weymouth and you like Indian food you HAVE to visit Shalims. In fact come to Weymouth just to eat at this restaurant. From the moment we were greeted at the door we knew we were in in the right place. The ambience and decor is spot on and the service exemplary. Everything has been thought of to make it Covid safe, from the hand sanitizer and wipes on the table to the masked waiting staff. But the food is the star of the show. We had the best Indian meal EVER. Please have the tandoori tikka king prawns, you won't regret it. Thanks Shalim for starting our starting our staycation off with a bang!

A modern restaurant with a good atmosphere. It is obviously a very popular place to eat, but even though it was busy it wasn't loud. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and full of flavour. We had a Chicken Tikka Korai, Chicken and a Vegetable Korma, with Veg Pilau, Garlic & Coriandor Naan, Onion Bhaji and Veg Samosas.
