Very grateful to find this when we were really hungry and it was tipping it down with rain. Good choice of considered vegetarian and vegan options (as well as meat) at reasonable prices for generous portions. Warming mulled apple drink hit the spot. Staff were friendly and attentive. Sadly no room for cake!! Would definitely visit again.

Good variety of food on offer, including veggie options. Solid covid restrictions in place, everything you would expect. As 3 veggies we were all eating different meals that were all tasty, which rarely happens! Will be back soon no doubt.

Nice atmosphere and good service. Kippers excellent and probably the best tried on the East coast. The Thai Crab Cakes were slightly disappointing as they required more crab and less potato in the cakes for the price charged. The Med Veg Spiced Soup also needed more spice to ensure it was as tasty as it should be. These are small margins between a 4 and a 5 star rating but I noticed and so will others.

What a breakfast. Really good choices, really well cooked. French toast with Feta and Honey was a big hit with my boys. Attentive service, genuinely nice folks. Great start to the day. .

We ate and drunk on multiple occasions at Sanders Yard during our visit. We have done so many times before. They never disappoint, with delicious food, amazing cakes and kind service. For those worried about COVID, they have lots of separate booths (some with dogs allowed) and a sensible attitude that allows safe and comfy dining. It’s worth noting that vegans as well as vegetarians are catered for and they have a prominent list of major allergens for their cakes.
