Very nice trail trail for walking, cycling and running, along the route of an old railway line. It goes from near the River Weaver near Winsford to near Cuddington. The Winsford end is surrounded mainly by nice fields and the Cuddington end is surrounded by woodland, boggy mosses and small lakes. There's a very good café at the old Whitegate station. Easily linked up with the River Weaver/Weaver Parkway near Winsford and the Oakmere Way to Delamere Forest from the Cuddington end.
Very nice running route. Roughly 5 mile in length. Fresh air and traffic free.
A very good cycle route except after heavy and persistent rain and easy for wheelchairs , pushchairs etc, also has the Station House cafe roughly half way along the route. There are toilets in the car park although the accessible one is a bit basic, I didn't check out the accessible toilet in the ladies though.
