The very best restaurant there is - so much so that a five star rating seems a bit low!! Each and every dish is cooked with real passion, fresh, tasty and perfectly balanced. It's our weekly treat to eat at the Ahar - and both eat in and take away are absolute the same quality and consistently delicious every time. Great value too and owner Fiz and his team genuinely care about their customers and giving them a great experience. Covid measures best I've seen anywhere, too. If you live anywhere within reach of the Ahar, don't miss out and make it your go to restaurant

Excellent restaurant, one of the best places I've ever eaten in! High quality food and very friendly staff, we ordered the tapas and the timing between dishes was perfect, would definitely eat here again!

Excellent food. Staff are very accommodating. Lots of vegan options and staff are happy to cook curries with less oil or no corriander when asked. I had the veggie balti dahl and it was delicious.

Most fantastic and authentic food, every time. Fiz and the team are so good at recommendations, welcoming service and new additions to the menu. If you like it spicy, the Ghost Roshun Mirch is an absolutely must try.
