Good driving range with decent Srixon balls and top tracer installed on every bay. Plenty of targets to aim for on the field. Well stocked shop with all the top gear. Not the cheapest tho for a 'discount' shop. Friendly helpful staff who also offer lessons by pga qualified professionals.

Beware that you can’t take your bag onto the range here. Seems like a basic requirement to be able to go to a golf range and carry your bag in. That however, is not my main gripe. If, like me, you are a first time visitor to the range and walk in with a bag then expect to be greeted by a very condescending and rude member of staff. I was not made to feel welcome and will not be going back. Fortunately, there are ranges in the area with a much friendlier atmosphere.

Went into the Rayleigh store tonight. Was looking to trade in a Right handed fairway and a 3 Hybrid. These were 2 gifts that were bought for me which I cannot use due to being a left handed golfer. Due to Covid I had not returned them, but the hybrid was bought at discount golf store... so thought as I was returning the club (in perfect condition). I thought we could arrange a deal for both of us. As I entered the shop, I was not greeted with a ‘hello’ but instead, greeted with ‘we don’t allow bags here’ from the man at the door. Who was then extremely rude and came across very sarcastic while trying to have a formal conversation with them. After asking what they could offer, I was the told to come back when a manager was present (which I would have done, had the staff not spoke to me like a child) It’s a real shame as I was looking for the new Taylormade Sim hybrid and 3 wood and thought I would support a local shop rather than the big companies, will not be returning to the shop or range! Would have been an easy 300 sale for the shop. And would have told my friends to also shop here, meaning more business. American golf it is.
