A really great collection of fascinating objects and vehicles all staffed by knowledgeable volunteers. You can handle deactivated weapons and have them explained by very friendly staff, Ernie was superb and Ginger is a real character. You can at extra cost ride in an armoured vehicle and shoot targets with an air rifle. Great value. A recommend visit.

An interesting and informative exhibition of artifacts. I was amazed such a small local museum could have amassed such an impressive collection. Well worth a visit. I was also impressed with the restaurant run by volunteers but professionally done. Good food and coffee.

A fantastic place to visit with so much to learn and view. Wonderful pieces of history and information available to guests. The voluntary staff are very friendly and helpful at this location and certainly looked after us. Ernie was very dedicated and knew his history and guns! One of the best people there and highly recommend him if you need information on any of the weapons on display. There was a spice girls bus parked on display with no access however I enjoyed this. Highly recommend to visit!

Smallish museum with a fantastic selection of weaponry and war-time memorabilia. Venue is Covid friendly and a great benefit is being able to take the dogs. Make sure you stop off at Churchill’s Cafe, grab a cuppa and see if ‘Dave’ is working, if so see if you can twist his arm for some insight on his favourite weaponry. 5/5 would go again.

What a little gem of a place. We went 3 adults and 3 kids plus 2 dogs. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. They demonstrated a few guns and the kids were able to have a feel of them. The place was just full of interesting information and it was good to read and understand what our grandparents lived through. There was a opportunity to also shoot a pellet gun at a target range which was good fun. The guy running that was very encouraging with the kids and made it fun and safe. We would definitely come back as all the kids enjoyed it and said they would come back.

Been here a few times now and always find it so enjoyable and interesting. The staff are lovely, always very friendly and informative. New things there to talk about, we love it. The food is fresh, enjoyable, good choice to choose from, very clean.
