I have been to The Wightman as both a performer and a punter. It is a great little venue for all sorts of events. Here is a shot taken by our drummer from the stage

A great little theatre, with bags of personality and a charm of that is it's own. There's a lot going on and it's definitely worth looking out for when you need a night out.
I've had the pleasure of seeing fantastic poets Luke Wright and John Cooper Clarke here, as well as the musical talent of Louis Gordon. Most recently, Playhouse Creatures. Great venue for most excellent nights out in Shrewsbury.
Good show on the night, but the theater needs some renovation. The support staff there are very good and they do there best, but funding and support for these theaters is lacking.
We were the only two in the audience! So was a bit special. Nice little theatre and would like to see another show.
A small theatre that makes you feel part of the performance.
Completely Wheelchair inaccessible! The owner has a ‘ramp’ - but it’s the same length as the stairs so totally unfit for purpose. The owner was very nice but when they sell tickets for Wheelchair users & you arrive to find it is inaccessible it’s just not acceptable.
An extraordinary organisation. If you send them money you get no receipt, no acknowledgement, no tickets and no information. Beware!
