Absolutely beautiful woods to walk through. We decided to go for a sunny, inset day walk, in the New Forest. We hadn't been to Wilverley before. We were not disappointed. It was an unusually sunny day in February, so we were spoiled with the warmth and sun creeping through the trees. It was beautiful. We walked a two mile route, which took a couple of hours, as the children (5 next month and 8 and a half) loved finding dens, balancing on logs and exploring. We took lunch and ate in the peaceful forest! We found a rope swing, which was attached to a very high tree- at least 6 metres up! It was amazing. Even hubby had a swing! The only issue for us, were hideous dog owners, who could not be bothered to clear up their dog poo. We had a load behind our car, so we couldn't get in the boot, without someone stepping in it. So disgusting. We will definitely be going back to Wilverley though. Such a beautiful place.

A beautiful walk of about 2 miles. Currently doing some forestry work so a bit muddy, but still worth the effort.
