Always a good experience with JMG. Jon Mitchell knows his onions, and the whole team are excellent and a pleasure to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble and the advice and recommendations I've received have been second to none. I won't take my classic Porsche anywhere else. I visit once a year, and it's well worth the trip from Nottingham to Bournemouth, just for the peace of mind that the car is in safe hands.

I took my car for a quick service before moving out of town for work. The initial mechanics who did the service absolutely botched it, and the car was underivable as a result which was not ideal as I still had to travel to get to and from work as a paramedic. I was able to call JMG and have the car towed to them on a Saturday arvo and explained what the issue was as best I knew, which wasn't much and from that, they were able to get it all fixed and in much better condition than when I first took the car for a service. Super helpful and knowledgeable, able to get the car back to me by the end of the week while keeping me informed throughout it all for a very fair price, I thought. They also gave it a bit of a clean, which was a nice bonus.

I picked up my car today following a healthy number of "worst case" scenarios while getting my brakes done (I'll blame the previous owner). A hose/fluid change turned into open heart surgery. Yet, somehow, JMG still got me the car back when they said they would! The guys were even patient enough to explain—in some detail—everything they did to protect the brakes from any future problems. Hard to imagine a smoother experience.

I took my car in for a service on the 1st October and collected it on a very rainy 3rd October. Had the weather not been so bad I would have noticed the damage they had done to my 997 earlier. There are several scuffs and scratches on 4 of the panels of my car. It is evident the car has not been treated with the respect it deserves. I reported the matter to JMG who apparantley have reported the insident to their insurers, but have subsequently ignored my emails and failed to return any of my calls. The worrying thing for me is that these people are obviously used to batting off complaints and i get the distinct feeling this happens all the time. To say I am upset is an understatement and i have had to go to the expense of a further service by a reputable garage as I cannot trust that JMG have serviced my car correctly, if at all. I have wrote this review to try and avoid anybody else going through what i have been through. I urge you to use another garage, there are plenty of other reputable garages about
